Demonicat's Olde Artwork

This page features some of my artwork from my teenage years. It would be easy to delete it in embarrassment, but I believe it's important to keep it around to show the progression of my skills as an artist. These were all taken from my old DeviantArt account; I started posting art under the name ~demonicat when I was 16.

I remember being a kid, looking at other artists' work online; I was so envious of their abilities and so sure that I'd never be able to get there myself. Whenever I talk to kids about my art, I want them to see the work on this page.

Don't compare your art to my art now, look at the work I was creating when I was your age.

I've had over 20 years of practice since these pieces were made to get to the level I am at today. I am not ashamed of the work here - it was the best I could do at the time. And with each new piece, each passing year that I continue to practice and learn more, I continue to grow as an artist. I am proud of my journey!
